Returns

We’re sorry you didn’t love our Brazilian beauty goodies! Sol de Janeiro welcomes you to return new or gently used products for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, in most cases. We will accept full and partial returns for a refund if you are not completely satisfied with our products. We offer free returns through our Return portal. We will only accept returns in their original product packaging. We cannot accept partial returns for items that were purchased as part of a set or bundle.

If your order is eligible for a promotional offer that includes any gift with purchase (“GWP”) and you subsequently return some portion of the order so that the order no longer qualifies for the GWP, the GWP must be returned with the items submitted for a refund. Sol de Janeiro reserves the right to reduce the refund by the retail value of the unreturned GWP if the order no longer qualifies for the promotional offer. We also reserve the right to deny any return requests or orders that do not meet the criteria for a full refund or that may be fraudulent.

Please note that we can only accept returns for products purchased directly through the Sol de Janeiro website (https://soldejaneiro.com). Products purchased through a Third-Party Retailer, such as Sephora, must be returned or exchanged to the original place of purchase, in accordance with the retailer’s own return policy.

Once received and inspected, we will issue your refund to your original form of payment in up to 1-3 business days. You'll receive an automatic email confirmation, and this should reflect on your bank statement within 7-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

STEPS TO RETURN YOUR ITEM(S)  

  1. Visit our return portal here to select which item(s) you would like to return and the reason for each return. Please note you must select all items you would like to return; additional items not specified will not be processed for a refund.
  2. Once you hit “Submit Return” you will be given a prepaid return label
  3. Pack the item(s) you’d like to return in its original packaging (if available). Otherwise, pack the item(s) in a well-padded envelope or box for protection during shipping. 
  4. Attach the prepaid return label to the front of the package. Mail your return package by dropping it off at any United States Postal Service (USPS) location. 
  5. Look out for an email confirmation—we’ll let you know when your return has been received and your refund has been processed!

Exchanges

We are unable to process exchanges at this time. Please place a new order at your convenience. We sincerely apologize for any trouble this causes. 

Damaged Items

Please do not submit a return request for damaged items. If you receive a damaged item, please contact our team at ola@soldejaneiro.com for assistance with a replacement or report the issue directly through our Help Center.

Replacements

Note: All replacements are subject to product availability. If the product is not available, you’ll receive a full refund to your original payment method.

Refunds for Visa Gift Cards and Afterpay

All returns will be refunded to their original payment method. . If you purchased with a Visa gift card, do not discard it until you have received (and enjoyed) your products. If you completed your purchase using AfterPay, AfterPay will be notified of your return request and process the appropriate refund amount.

Packing Slips

Missing a packing slip? There’s a reason for that! We’re working to minimize the environmental impact of paper consumption (more on that here). All order information, shopping history, and return information is available on soldejaniero.com. Questions? Our CX team can help.

Order Cancellation

Unfortunately, we are unable to modify or cancel orders once they are placed. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this causes. Please try reaching out to the carrier to request your package be returned to sender. Please note that this service is not always free and sometimes requires an additional cost that you would be responsible for.
