REDUCE OUR SCOPE 3 GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS

by 55% per pound of product we make. We'll achieve this in the following ways:

Opting for ocean shipments instead of air for approximately 60x savings on carbon emissions
Using reusable materials and furniture in events and in-store displays
"Light weighting" our packaging (removing packaging that is not 100% necessary)
Expanding our refill program
Choosing PCR (post-consumer recycled) materials instead of new
Work with partners who are aligned with our efforts.
Results: Last year, we decreased our Scope 3 emissions by 11% in intensity, bringing our total emissions to 141,000 tons of CO2.

Our Clean Standard: What We Formulate Without

Rinse out your products and separate the components before recycling. Check your local recycling program for specific instructions.

Utilize recycling programs like Pact collection bins found at Sephora and Ulta.

(Pact recycles packaging parts that local services cannot, including pumps)

Restock your favorites with refills. They’re the products you love with far less waste.

Over the next five years, we plan to contribute a minimum of $5 million to the Sol de Janeiro Foundation.

We work to protect & restore areas of high biodiversity, supporting the advancement of sustainable, forest-based livelihoods and helping local communities thrive while keeping nature conserved. In these territories, Indigenous rights and voices are at the forefront of decision making.
