Over the past 7 years, we’ve built an incredible community and SOL family around our irresistible products, but it was time for a *refresh* of our classic logo.
Brazilians love curves (and so do we!) so our new look reflects everything from the unforgettable Copacabana Beach sidewalk to the diverse bodies to the architecture of icons like Oscar Niemeyer —and not to mention the stunning Rio seaside. Of course, our new logo also incorporates the sounds of Brazil: samba and bossa nova. Music afficionados and fans of international artist, Tom Jobin might notice a slight nod to his album covers too.
Our creative team pulled from combination of classic, elegant, vintage, and contemporary references to capture the essence of Sol de Janeiro, while remaining true to our signature roots. Think of it, like the ultimate love letter to the beauty of Brazil.
This new logo is a fresh, exciting way for us to kick off 2023 (p.s. you’ll be seeing it pop up on our packaging too!) Whether you are new to Sol de Janeiro (or have been with us since the beginning), we can’t wait to show you what else is in store. Same iconic products, new iconic logo.
