How To Use Brazilian Joia™ Shampoo and Conditioner Set
Brazilian Joia™ Strengthening + Smoothing Shampoo:
- Wet hair thoroughly. Pour a quarter size amount of shampoo into the palms of your hands and rub together to create light lather.
- Gently massage the product directly into your scalp for 1-2 minutes focusing on the roots.
- While shampooing, finger comb hair in a downwards direction to effectively clean and remove any styling products you’ve used
- Rinse out and apply conditioner for maximum damage repairing + hydrating benefits as directed.
Brazilian Joia™ Strengthening + Smoothing Conditioner:
- After shampooing, evenly apply enough conditioner to coat hair from mid-length to ends.
- Avoid apply conditioner to the roots to prevent hair from being weighed down.
- Leave on for 2 to 3 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
- Follow with Brazilian Joia™ Milky Leave-in Conditioner before styling to detangle, fight frizz, hydrate and add heat protection.

- I just purchased the new and "improved" shampoo and conditioner and notice they are completely different colors, they are white now instead of the yellow creme color as before and the shampoo is now shiny pearl like to it like cheap shampoo. I really loved the old formula and am just now finishing up my old bottles. Please tell me exactly what you changed about the shampoo and conditioner ingredient wise. I'm so upset because your old shampoo was so natural and made my hair feel like silk and am nervous using the new one. Can't you please carry both formulas?

- Yes. We never use cyclic silicones – these are the traditional silicones that form an unwanted layer over the hair or skin that can often prevent the great ingredients in products from being able to penetrate and may be bad for the environment. This means we don’t use Cyclotetrasiloxane (D4), Cyclopentasiloxane (D5), Cyclohexasiloxane (D6) or Cyclomethicone We use some high-quality clean silicones since they are lightweight skin moisturizers and help prevent breakage in hair. Because they are water-rinseable, they can be washed away with gentle, sulfate-free cleansers and shampoos so they don’t build-up on skin, hair or in our water systems.
