I just purchased the new and "improved" shampoo and conditioner and notice they are completely different colors, they are white now instead of the yellow creme color as before and the shampoo is now shiny pearl like to it like cheap shampoo. I really loved the old formula and am just now finishing up my old bottles. Please tell me exactly what you changed about the shampoo and conditioner ingredient wise. I'm so upset because your old shampoo was so natural and made my hair feel like silk and am nervous using the new one. Can't you please carry both formulas?

The new formula has a lighter color compared to the old formula. We prioritized increasing the damage repairing benefits of Brazilian Joia Shampoo and Conditioner for the reformulation. The new formula still has Sol Seal Technology, Brazil Nut Oil, and Buriti Fruit along with the Cheirosa '62 fragrance that you know and love!

Yes. We never use cyclic silicones – these are the traditional silicones that form an unwanted layer over the hair or skin that can often prevent the great ingredients in products from being able to penetrate and may be bad for the environment. This means we don’t use Cyclotetrasiloxane (D4), Cyclopentasiloxane (D5), Cyclohexasiloxane (D6) or Cyclomethicone We use some high-quality clean silicones since they are lightweight skin moisturizers and help prevent breakage in hair. Because they are water-rinseable, they can be washed away with gentle, sulfate-free cleansers and shampoos so they don’t build-up on skin, hair or in our water systems.

Safe for keratin treatments?

Our shampoo and conditioner are keratin-friendly, however we always recommend a strand test or consulting with your stylist for specific hair concerns. 💕

Is this shampoo and conditioner safe to use on tape in extensions??
